PRESCRIBER-MANAGED PROGRAMS

Medical Weight Loss & GLP-1 Programs in Chino

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medicines that belong inside ongoing clinical care. This page explains the programs; a licensed prescriber determines eligibility, medication and dose.

WHO MAY QUALIFY

Eligibility starts with a clinical review.

This is general information, not a screening result. A licensed prescriber makes the final decision.

A program may be considered for adults who:

  • Are seeking clinician-supervised medical weight-management support.
  • Meet the prescriber's clinical criteria after an individual evaluation.
  • Can complete a private health-history and medication review.
  • Are willing to complete labs when the prescriber considers them necessary.
  • Can participate in follow-up, monitoring and a broader nutrition and activity plan.

These medicines are not appropriate for everyone. Pregnancy plans, current medicines, medical history, contraindications and other risks must be reviewed privately with the treating clinician.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

Medication choice is individualized.

Pricing helps with planning. It does not let a visitor choose a medication or dose.

Semaglutide

This prescription GLP-1 medicine acts on pathways involved in appetite, fullness and digestion. A prescriber decides whether it is appropriate.

Tirzepatide

This prescription medicine acts on GIP and GLP-1 pathways. It is not simply “stronger semaglutide,” and medication choice is individualized.

First clinical step

Clinical intake occurs in a secure healthcare process. Health history, current medicines, pregnancy plans and relevant risks are reviewed before prescribing. Care is under the medical direction of a California-licensed physician; prescription treatments require licensed-prescriber review, and Kaitlyn performs treatments and coordinates care under that oversight.

Product transparency

Before payment, confirm the exact prescribed product, dispensing source and whether it is FDA-approved or compounded. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved products.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

Know what may happen before treatment.

Side effects and risks vary by medication, dose and person. Review the full prescribing information with your clinician.

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Abdominal discomfort or pain
  • Indigestion
  • Decreased appetite
  • Injection-site reactions

This is not a complete safety list. Serious risks, contraindications and when to seek urgent care are discussed before prescribing and appear in the medication guide. Persistent or severe symptoms should be reported to the treating clinician.

WEIGHT-LOSS PROGRAM FAQ

Clear answers before you begin.

These answers are educational and do not replace an individual medical evaluation.

How much does a medical weight-loss program cost?

Contact the clinic for a personal consultation. Your treatment plan and total are confirmed before treatment.

What happens at the first visit?

The clinical process includes a private medical intake, review of health history and current medicines, discussion of goals and risks, and labs when the prescriber considers them appropriate. Completing a visit does not guarantee a prescription.

What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 pathway. Tirzepatide acts on GIP and GLP-1 pathways. One is not automatically the better choice; a licensed prescriber determines whether either medication is appropriate for you.

What is the difference between compounded and brand-name medication?

FDA-approved brand products are reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness and quality. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and may be prescribed only when lawful and clinically appropriate. The exact product and dispensing pharmacy should be confirmed before payment. Read the FDA's current GLP-1 information.

How long does a GLP-1 weight-management program last?

There is no single timeline for every patient. Duration depends on clinical eligibility, goals, response, tolerability and ongoing review. Your prescriber discusses follow-up and whether continued treatment remains appropriate.

What side effects can occur?

Common effects can include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal discomfort, indigestion and decreased appetite. The prescribing information contains additional warnings and risks that must be reviewed with your treating clinician.

Will I need lab work?

Lab needs vary. A prescriber may order testing based on medical history, current medicines and clinical judgment. You may bring recent results for review, but the clinician decides whether new or additional testing is needed.

What happens if I stop taking the medication?

Appetite, weight and other health measures can change after treatment stops. Do not change or stop a prescribed medication without discussing it with your treating clinician, who can help plan the next step and ongoing support.
